I would have preferred he stay in the race, as it looks like now, over the next four to eight years, no terrorist kingpins are going to get the waterboarding they deserve. Also, other things being equal, I would have preferred looking at this face over McCain’s, Hillary’s, or Barack’s for the next four to eight.
