Nice tribute to veterans. Whatever the prevailing climate of opinion, the world is never better than the people in it, and it swings on a pendulum between good and evil. So long as there is evil (just to name a few of its many forms--greed, the lust for power, territory, money, resources, etc, and the corruption that follows; hatred of the "other" and everything in that particular evil's wake) good people will be forced to mount armies. We must thank, respect and above all, honor those who "soldier" on behalf of our peace and freedom. And thank you for the fine article. Marylin Pitz
