Fox and Friends

Hello Fox viewers and other readers. Some of you may have seen attorney and filmmaker Brooke Goldstein on “Fox and Friends” this morning.

I had the opportunity to interview Ms. Goldstein last summer for The New York Sun about her courageous foray into the West Bank to interview firsthand both Palestinian children who have been brainwashed to become “martyrs” and the terrorists who recruit them.

This morning Brooke discussed the lack of balance in Christiane Amanpour’s “God’s Warriors,” a three-part documentary CNN has been playing and replaying over the past couple of months. She did an excellent job highlighting the absurdity of Ms. Amanpour’s attempt to shoehorn the threat posed by violent Jewish and Christian extremists – who are miniscule in number and overwhelmingly condemned by Jews and Christians worldwide – into a framework of equivalency with the threat to civilization posed by jihad martyrdom.

It is important to energetically counter such distortion because, to paraphrase Ayn Rand, the unacknowledged absurdities of today are the slogans of tomorrow. So bravo, Brooke.

Here is a link to my New York Sun opinion piece on Christiane Amanpour’s “God’s Warriors”: http://www.nysun.com/article/61497

    Excellent article. Ms. Goldstein has
done a great service by going to the
source of the Palestinian terrorism and
exposing it. There should be more of this
    type of coverage!!
